How to Uninstall SignalRGB

Choose the method below that fits your situation — standard removal or clean uninstall.

Before You Start

Section titled “Before You Start”

Make sure you have:

  • Admin access on your Windows computer
  • A backup of any local-only effects or configurations you want to keep (if doing a clean uninstall or reinstall)
  • Your SignalRGB account credentials (if you plan to reinstall and restore cloud-saved data)

Uninstall SignalRGB

Section titled “Uninstall SignalRGB”
  1. Open Windows Settings and go to Apps > Installed Apps
  2. Search for SignalRGB in the list
  3. Click the three-dot menu next to SignalRGB and select Uninstall
  4. When prompted whether to remove all settings, choose one of the following:
    • Click Yes to remove all settings
    • Click No to keep your settings for a future reinstall
  1. Follow any remaining prompts to complete the uninstall

Delete Remaining Files (Clean Uninstall)

Section titled “Delete Remaining Files (Clean Uninstall)”

After uninstalling, some files may remain in your AppData folder. Delete them to fully remove SignalRGB from your system.

  1. Open File Explorer
  2. Navigate to the following path, replacing USERNAME with your Windows username:
    • C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\WhirlwindFX
  3. Delete the WhirlwindFX folder
