Resetting calibration on SteelSeries Rival 600/650 mice

Section titled “Resetting calibration on SteelSeries Rival 600/650 mice”

If you are having issues with your SteelSeries Rival 600/650 mouse calibration the following guide should help.

SteelSeries GG (formerly SteelSeries Engine) can conflict with SignalRGB’s control of SteelSeries devices. If your SteelSeries devices are showing incorrect colors or not responding to SignalRGB, GG may be overriding the lighting.

To resolve SteelSeries GG conflicts:

  1. Open SteelSeries GG.
  2. For each device, open its IllumiRoom / Prism lighting settings.
  3. Set the active profile to a static black color.
  4. Disable Prism (the lighting engine) if the option is available in GG settings.
  5. Save your changes and close SteelSeries GG.
  6. Restart SignalRGB.

Disabling Prism or setting profiles to static black stops GG from pushing lighting data to your devices, which allows SignalRGB to take full control. You do not need to uninstall GG — just stop it from sending lighting commands.
