Cooling
Cooling is a SignalRGB Pro exclusive feature that allows users with supported fan controllers to control their fan speeds. You can set fan speeds on a per-fan basis and can make your own fan curves to customize the cooling and performance of your system.
Detecting Start and Stall Speeds
Before you configure custom fan curves, it is extremely important that you detect the start and stall speeds of your fans. Failure to do so can result in damage to your fans.
- Navigate to the Cooling tab of SignalRGB.
- Click the gear icon on any of the fans listed.
- Click the
Detect All Start/Stall %'s
button. - Wait until the process completes before configuring your fans. It can take up to a few minutes to detect the speeds.

Assigning Fans to Fan Curves
Fans can be assigned to any fan curve by clicking on a fan, then selecting the fan curve you would like to assign in the lower portion of the page.

In this example, Fan 1 is assigned to the Balanced fan curve.
Creating Custom Fan Curves
If you would like to customize how your fans behave, you can create custom fan curves. These allow you to define the temperature thresholds required to reach certain fan speeds.
To create a new fan curve, click the Custom Curve
button located in the fan curve list and give the new fan curve a name.

You can select the temperature sensor the fan will use to determine its speed, as well as adjust the curve itself.
These adjustments will apply to all fans set to use that fan curve.

Consider creating fan curves for the fans that are responsible for cooling each major part of your system. For example, create a fan curve with the graphics card temperature as the sensor for fans that direct air towards the graphics card. Similarly, use the CPU package or core temperatures as the sensor for fans on CPU heatsinks or CPU watercooling systems.
