Creating a SignalRGB account is free and takes only a few minutes. An account gives you access to the full effects library and keeps your settings backed up in the cloud.

You can use SignalRGB in limited mode without an account. Signing in unlocks the full effects library, cloud sync, and personalized features.

## Create Your Account

1. Open SignalRGB.
2. Click the **Sign In** button in the lower-left corner of the application.

3. In the sign-in window, click **Create Account** or **Register**.

4. Enter your **email address** and choose a **password**.
5. Click **Create Account** to submit the form.
6. Check your inbox for a verification email from SignalRGB.
7. Click the **verification link** in the email to activate your account.

8. Return to SignalRGB and sign in with your new credentials.

## After Signing In

Once you sign in, SignalRGB will sync your effects and preferences automatically. Any changes you make going forward will be saved to your account.

## Tips & Best Practices

- Use the same email address you use for other SignalRGB purchases so your Light Points and Pro subscription are linked to one account.
- If you don't receive the verification email within a few minutes, check your spam folder.
- You can sign in on multiple PCs — your effects and settings sync across all of them.

## Troubleshooting

- **Verification email not arriving** — check your spam folder; wait a few minutes and try resending from the sign-in screen
- **Can't sign in after verifying** — try resetting your password from the sign-in screen
- **Account creation form not loading** — check your internet connection and try restarting SignalRGB
